Description

Due to the high concentration, this cream may have a strong sulphuric smell due to that molecule in the glutathione and bearberry. It blocks the activity of tyrosinase by slowing down pigmentation. 
Hyperpigmentation is a common condition in all skin types and colours. Patches of skin become darker in colour than the normal surrounding skin. This darkening occurs when an excess of melanin, the brown pigment that produces natural skin colour, forms deposits in the skin.

Benefits of this serum

Helps to inhibit the production of melanin via tyrosinase suppression. Evens out skin complexion and restores glow and radiance to the skin. Powerful free radical scavengers restore youthfulness and improve complexion. Promotes clear, even and healthy skin. 

Key ingredients

Licorice inhibits the production of an enzyme needed to produce melanin (pigment) in the skin. It helps remove excess melanin and has anti-inflammatory benefits. 
Alpha arbutin is a naturally occurring derivative of hydroquinone (a popular skin-lightening ingredient) extracted from the dried leaves of plants like blueberry, cranberry and bearberry. It blocks the activity of tyrosinase by slowing down the pigmentation. 
Kojic acid inhibits an enzyme necessary in the production of melanin, helping to fade dark spots and discolouration. It also delivers some antioxidant protection.
Vitamin C is an antioxidant which protects against free radical damage, evens skin tone, and promotes collagen production. 

Directions for use

The best defence against hyperpigmentation is sunscreen, so do not skip this step in daily skincare in order to prevent further hyperpigmentation problems. It is imperative that you exfoliate once or twice a week to assist in the skin restoration process. It is recommended to use body butter twice daily in combination with this product.

Lead time

All our products are made fresh to order, similar to a bakery. Due to the extensive requirement of ingredients sourced globally from multiple suppliers, the entire process of sourcing, shipping, ordering and manufacturing can take anywhere between 3-6 weeks. Please place your orders well in advance, as we have a busy production schedule.
Note that if special arrangement has been made for us to assist with labeling, lead time could increase to 8-9 weeks.
